So I'm going to smoke a brisket and pork ribs for the first time this saturday morning. Any pointers? What to look out for? I'm kind of worried, I've never cooked for 12 hrs straight before.

i'm just doing the pork ribs now. I can't find a good 10lb cut of brisket. I found some but without a fatcap. i needs da fatcap.
