So what do you guys and gals think of this show? As a very big twilight zone fan I decided to get the first season of the old outer limits to make up for no new twilight zone episodes and so far I've only seen the first O.T. episode and it seems pretty decent. Curious what everyone else thinks bout the show. Discuss

Honeycomb the song has references to an outer limits episode for anyone who is interested.

I'm sure I've seen a lot of them (early and the late ones) but it would have been late night insomnia TV from years ago so I can't really remember any specifics. I remember one of the later ones though where it was daytime during the night because of the sun dying and everyone was going to be killed by mad solar flares. It still affects my dreams.

Sci-Fi just played a 3-day Twilight Zone marathon. I think it was the day before 4th of July, 4th of July, and the day after.

I've seen all the episodes from the '60s and none of the later ones. Some of them really freaked me out when I was a kid. Great stuff, although many of them would have been much better edited down to a half hour.

The one with the army turning Robert Duvall into an alien so he can infilitrate a crashed alien spacecraft is really weird. The aliens are freaky, boggle-eyed, upside-down gill-headed yolks!

Demon With A Glass Hand with Robert Culp is one of the greatest teleplays ever. Outer Limits agreeably had some good stuff, but Twilight Zone prevailed. Some hilarities include The Zanti Misfits, and Cold Hands, Warm Heart with Shatner, and some other one I can't remember with Martin Landau turning into some creature. There's one with Martin Sheen that used to scare the shit out of me where some alien is controlling a rocket crew's mental collective.

The outer limits has it's creepy moments. Great show that I used to watch religously in the 70's. I think it was showtime that ran the original series again in 2005. Good times.

I have only ever seen episodes from the later version from the 90's. That had some excellent episodes though.

A friend has the original series on DVD, and I watched a few. Some really good episodes.

I haven't seen it in years, but, i remember liking it. The sad thing about it is that there was some classic OL episodes, and i can barely recall the plots.
