I haven't seen much of the show, but I've enjoyed what I have seen. I wish it were possible to watch it nowadays.

Yeah. A good place to go for collecting is the Digital Archive Project (dapcentral.org). In recent years they've taken to making DVDs (some of them superior to the Rhino releases in quality) of a bunch of episodes. They're strict about only offering unreleased titles for distribution; once Rhino releases an episode, they "blacklist" it.
Anyway, while they have released almost every episode at some point (if not in DVD quality, at least as MP4/DivX AVIs), they make it as difficult as possible to get your hands on the episodes. The only official means of distribution are either eDonkey or IRC-based.
I have a few hundred episodes, including a few dozen DVDs. I'm much more a Mike-era fan, mostly because I prefer the movies they riff--and the writing--of seasons 6+.
To answer some other questions, they stopped producing the show a few years back (midway through season 10), and I am not aware of any present syndication. What prozacrat refers to is probably Volume 6, which, like the others, is most likely 4 arbitrarily combined episodes in a single set.
I wish they would release full seasons too. I think the pricing is currently prohibitive. More significant, though, is that Rhino is apparently unable to license all the victim films for rerelease, making it impossible to release complete season sets. It is really unfortunate; still, the DAP helps fill those gaps.
Switchy's comment reminded me that Mike Nelson has been providing commentaries on several DVDs by a company that colorizes old cultish flicks, like Reefer Madness, Carnival Of Souls and Plan 9 From Outerspace. The first few (hundred?) of each of these editions are autographed by the man. Anyway, while far cries from MST3K, they're still fun. However, I am stopping short of linking to--or naming--the company because I am unhappy with their service. I figure if you want a copy, you can find 'em about 2 seconds after your browser arrives at Google (or even faster if you're using Firefox or the like).

Awesome show. I joined the fan club even. And I have a "Movie Sign!" bumber sticker on my car. Oh, and a MST3K decal on my rear window. I wish they could release entire seasons on DVD because I want all of them. I guess the episodes are just too long to do that though. |

Not only am I a fan, but I just got my mom season 6 on DVD for her 50th birthday. I think that's the one I got her. I can't remember.

I used to watch the show a bit, but not enough to know much about seasons or specific episodes.
