Is anyone of the footie aficionados here playing this?

I got my team a few weeks ago and am still trying to figure out how it all works.

It's quite a long term game and apparently you can put a lot of effort and time into this game.
I don't and it's still fun.

I got an e-mail today (written in Spanish for some reason) telling me that my account has been deleted because I have been inactive for too long.

Well it is quite complex. It takes a while to get going. And longer while before you see changes you make in your club or team to take effekt. You just can't take a weekend off and play Hattrick to push your team because of the games weekly structure. Real improvements will only come after a few seasons (at least I hope so...)

But it's a nice game ta attend every now and then. A bit like a football tamagotchi...

And I like that you can decide how much time and effort you want to invest. You can loose yourself in endless transfer market gambles, finetuning of your team and training, etc... Or ,like I do at the moment, just make little adjustments here and there, pick a squad every saturday and wednesday and see what happens.

I've been given a team but I just cannot get the hang of it. It still seems very complex.

Yeah that may take a while.

Cool, contact me when you have your team. We can have an international friendly then!

My manager name is 'kella'. My team is 'AS Berlino Mitte'(996523) and plays in germanys league 'IX.169' (80232).

I've just signed up. I'm on a waiting list to be given a team in my area.

True. It is a bit complicated in the beginning.

I still hope that once you get to know the basic rules of the game (and a few of the utility programs as well) you are able to play it with a minimum of effort.

Unless you are getting ambitious, of course.

Never seen that game before kelladwella, it looks a bit complicated though. I might give it a go sometime soon and just see how it goes.
