Such an awesome fucking album. Holy shit it's like a "Best of Tool" compilation all in one new album. All of the classic Tool sound is there and it's so damn heavy. Even heavier than Lateralus which had too many slower songs, IMO.
Highlights are "Rosetta Stoned", "Vicarious", "The Pot", and my favorite being "Right in Two".
Tool fans will NOT be let down!

I´m going to the Barcelona one. I heard on this tour they´ll be doing longer shows than the last one, the small-club run.

Not yet, I still don't know if I'll be able to go... They're not coming to my town, so it will depend on what I'll be doing by the time they'll come to the other cities.

That´s a bigger venue they´re playing in Barcelona, I´ve never been there but assume since Pearl Jam just played there it´s large enough.

great pics Newo! thanks for sharing! Unfortunately, I havent been able to see them during their dates in France, but they said on the site they were going to tour again a lot next fall... hope this will be the good time for me...

I´m getting to the point where I can appreciate the whole album instead of skipping through to my favourite songs. I saw them in a tiny club of 1500 people or so a couple weeks ago, they were a fucking force of nature. They opened with Lost Keys seguing into Rosetta Stoned and seemed to enjoy themselves immensely, Justin Chancellor with a broad grin most of the time and they highfiving and giving daft surfer congratulation gestures to each other afterward. Second was Stinkfist where they cut loose on the interlude, 46+2, Jambi, Schism, Right In Two (Danny Carey with that new electronic tabla he has), Lateralis, Sober, Vicarious and ended with Aenima. Like every Tool album it took me some listens to really start to appreciate it correctly. Now, with the passing of time, I really dig all the tracks. Very good album. Very good musical and artistic options. Like I say, I love all the tracks, but especially those ones: The Pot, Intension, Jambi, Right In Two. I'm also enjoying the Wings For Marie/10.000 Days diptych. It's simple: the more I listen to it, the more I like it.

Just heard Vicarious and Right In Two once, but it sounds great indeed. Can't wait to buy the album.
