What song best expresses your love and admiration for me.

(I'm not going to dedicate a song to myself but if I were it would be "The West Wing" opening theme- it seems to suit my courageous and heroic nature- though I don't know the guy, I can't help thinking the composer was somehow inspired by me.)

I like that, pixiestu, especially, "Jimmy In Your Shoes" and "Jim- Jimmy- Jim". Very good. I'll take you to Red Lobster, of course, we don't want it to be a date- it'll just be two buddies having some fried scallops and Pina Coladas. And those buttery garlic rolls, Mmmm.

There are a couple of classic Frank/Pixies songs including:
-Jimmy Radcliffe
-Jimmy Was Right
-Jimmy's Theme
-Jimmy In Your Shoes

...and what was that Larry Norman cover that they did about the anti-christ?
Of course, it was Jim-Jimmy-Jim!

Nice idea, vovat, but I think that would be better for El Barto.

What about that Jim Croce song? "You don't tug on Superman's cape, you don't spit in the wind, you don't pull the mask off that old Lone Ranger, and you don't mess around with Jim."

"If you doze much longer, then life turns to dreaming. If you doze much longer, then dreams turn to nightmares."

Oh no, I'm not saying the song has to relate to me in any way,
just a really good song. In fact, it would be impossible for
anyone to dedicate a song that relates to me. You see, in the history of the world there's never been anyone as great and perfect as me- all the love songs out there were written about regular people-if some songwriters met me , the songs they'd write would eclipse all previous songs.

( I was the inspiration behind "The Picture of Dorian Gray", the original title was "The Picture of Jimmy" )

How's about "You're so vain" by Miz Carly Simon?

Alright, I'm still waiting for someone to pick a song I like- impress me and I'll take you to Red Lobster

Oh that's right, Pixiestu, I forgot all about that one- I still have the cassette maxi-single with all the remix versions.

The song "Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy, Oh Yeah Baby, Jimmy Is Great, We All Love Jimmy" peaked at #2 and was kept from the top spot by the Divinyl's "I Touch Myself", which is, I think, the better song.

Hey jimmy, how about the song 'jimmy jimmy jimmy jimmy, oh yeah baby, jimmy is great, we all love jimmy'

I'm pretty sure it got to number one in the 90's.

I'd like to thank everyone who dedicated a song to me, even if I've never heard of most of them. I recognize some of the names, like Van Halen and Pete Seeger, who, if I remember right, if a bearded folk-singer in his late 90's.

Someone dedicated a Tom Petty song w/ an unfriendly title which makes me wonder if he's still mad at me for falsly reporting that Willie Nelson was run down in the road. (It would be sad if that really happened, like it would be sad if Bruce Springsteen's car blew up ("I'm On Fire") or if someone pushed Joni Michell out of a window ("Help Me I Think I'm Falling") or if Olivia Newton John had a heart attack ("Heart Attack")).

Speaking of "Jimmy Crack Corn", did anybody see "Pee Wee's Big Adventure" the other night on Bravo. I caught it halfway through. I think it's one of the funniest movies ever- it has so many good scenes.

"Big Top Pee Wee" though, wasn't made by Tim Burton, I think, and wasn't good at all, except it had that pretty Italian girl in it.

There's also "Jimmy, Jimmy" by Madonna and "Jimmy Lee" by Aretha Franklin.

How about songs with Jimmy in the lyrics. I can think of one (the band's name starts w/ a "W" and it's from their 1st album.
