I heard one of the songs on the radio. It was really cool.

Nice, thanks for that.

Interestingly, the Brown Brothers think floop is an idiot:
quote:

Wilco: The 2000s version of the 90s REM. Unbelievable creative roll, 7 great albums in a row, the first one a double: Being There, Summer Teeth, The Mermaid Avenues 1 & 2, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and A ghost is born. If anyone tells you they are overrated, that person is an idiot.

They had a very cool segment about this guy on NPR sometime in the last 6 months or so. Maybe in an archive at npr.org, but I didn't have time to check. I wanted to get the cd when I heard that, but forgot all about it.

I tend to think of human beings as huge rubbery test tubes, too, with chemical reactions seething inside

Wow, those guys are cookin'!! Not familiar with Malkmus' solo work, that version reminds me of the sax stuff on the LOst Highway soundtrack! Nice mellow-but-lively vibe on Summer Babe.

pas de dutchie!
