it's rarities, i think.

That would be real cool if he was, but I doubt the devil would think that fronting a quirky, post-modern pop band would be the best way to reach the masses. These folks need to look closer into the careers of real devil suspects like Toby Keith, or Kevin Cronin.

Looks like Cake played w/ Pixies at the Austin City Limits Festival in 04. Anybody catch that show?
I've seen Cake three times and I love em. Last show was at Disneyland's Main St. House of Blues. Great show. McCrea was really pissed off in a "I fucking give up" sort of way concerning traffic, greenhouse effect, the man, record labels, people shouting out song names, etc. Quite funny. Great musicians in that band. |

I'm going to see them (hopefully) on the 14th in Chicago. It's a 4 and a half hour drive from Ann Arbor, but it's pretty close compared to other places they've been touring.

I like them a bit, but it takes maybe 5 secs to know you're listening to them. They're pretty much local to where I live. |
