Posted - 01/07/2006 : 03:52:36 How about a thread without the slightly weird credit recommendations?
I have to revert to my diet after probably one (or two) too many miniature Toblerones and about three entire turkeys. This will involve sit ups and no morning pastries, which will hurt.
I'm also endeavouring to write more, and spend more time checking out new music to write about.
Maybe if this thread works out a little less creepy than the other one, we can check it in six months or something, see how everyone's getting on.

Posted - 01/11/2006 : 05:40:35 well truth me told, i haven't paid any of it back yet...hence why it's gone up from 28k to 35k in 18 months.... but got 15k waiting in my account to begin the demise of the evil bastard. no suprise that no NZ grads stay in NZ - the student loan interest rates and schemes make it uneconomical to remain when the wages are so low. ...opened up a can o' worms...

Posted - 01/09/2006 : 18:13:47 Good luck Cheesman.
I need to get in shape too.
After trying it out and doing a good job of sticking to it, I am going to be a vegitaran that eats seafood only. I promise to double or triple the amount of veggies I eat and cut back on carbs. Also, starting in march I will get more cardio. |

Posted - 01/07/2006 : 10:26:30 I also resolve to head-butt either the welshman or the italian next time I see them, without warning and hopefully breaking the bridge of their nose.
If that doesn't work out punching them hard enough to make their lips bleed would satisfy me. Probably.
Loss of a tooth would help.
Loss of several teeth would be better though.
I think a permenant visible scar might be pushing it, but not without a certain amount of pleasure if I'm honest. |

Posted - 01/07/2006 : 10:22:12 Well they are obviously a moron, you don't resolve to off yourself you just do it, anything else is posing nonsense.
Saying that, I'm still not making any resolutions. Oh no, I resolve to finish this stupid nanowrimo story that I didn't finish. |

Posted - 01/07/2006 : 10:15:19 Simon, I laud you for your hard-won efforts to be healthier. Don't let the usual end-of-the-year caloric intake dissuade you from your goal or discredit your past triumphs.
My promise for 06: bravery, and not the band. Balls -- I'm gonna grow some. I'm gonna be like REM and walk unafraid.

Posted - 01/07/2006 : 09:21:46 Well far be it from me to deny the wisdom of your ages, Steven, but as the fact that I'm making a promise to myself is based around losing the weight that I've put on at the end of the year, the beginning of the next year seems a particularly pertinent place to start.
Let's see some promises, people.
