It's the time of year to over-indulge in whatever takes your fancy. If the guilt gets too much and/or you just make a total arse of yourself, post in here and feel the confessional joy.

I just had three mince pies in 10 minutes.

*feels enlightened*

Is whoever spills the beans crowned Lord of Misrule?

Llama, clarification please! Must we contain our confessions to indulgences or may we confess to any old malfeasance?

I got some heaven in my head

Any old malfeasance will do, it's kind of a confessional to purge the guilt.
It doesn't really have to stick to the present day either. If there's something eating at you soul from Xmas past, spill the beans.

I think just reading this clogged an artery.

I think I was early and my indulgences were in Nov.

It is awesome, he has the restaurant there, a cafe, the cake shop (which is so much more than a cake shop) and then the seafood college, attached to the college is the fish and chip shop (eat in and take away) and I'm not sure ordinary fish and chips will ever be the same again! You could have skate, john dory, monkfish, tuna... amazing. Fried in beef dripping... vegetarians are losers., sorry vegetarians.

Sardines dipped in chocolate.. not sure I would have been that enthusiastic :P
In fact, ew!

I'm so disappointed they weren't real sardines dipped in chocolate :D (I wasn't sure what to think)

Aaah, battered monkfish sounds fantastic. I'm certain my wife would kill for that.

It was darn good chocolate (fish shaped chocolate in sardine printed foil in a presentation sardine tin), and the fish and chips are cooked in beef dripping so they're so so filthy it *hurts* my pops had battered monkfish and chips and the grin on that mans face, looked like his head was going to split. The little patisserie was to die for, I only went in for the sardines but almost walked away with divine smelling coffee and mince pies and kahlua truffles and danishes and....

Chocolate sardines? Were they good?

I've eaten every meal out for the last three days, in fact lunch today was chips from Rick Steins fish and chip shop in padstow followed by chocolate sardines from Steins patisserie.

Wrong, yet so right.
