Posted - 12/16/2005 : 09:04:57 So I'm getting into the sounds of snaps and pops, with hint of droning and retro-electronica.
In other words, I've been digging bands like Ulrich Schnauss, Swod, Wechsel Garland, and something similar to Bjork's "Vespertine". I see it as a new birth in music for the new year.
Anyways, what albums/bands do you suggest that are along these lines?
(Preferably no lyrics... singers are mostly dumb and they sing dumb lyrics. I don't want to hear about love, not being loved, anti-government, anti-human crap, etc) |

Other than what's been already said: Four Tet (can't recommend him highly enough) Hood Manitoba/Caribou (try 'Up In Flames') Magnétophone M83 (like an amalgamation of Air and My Bloody Valentine)
