two hours a day and it´s still too much, and have come to the conclusion that even fifteen minutes a day would be barbarous too so I´m on strike. Who´s with me?

so far i've not earnt enough to pay back any of my student loan, and as they increased the threshold to 15k not long ago, it's unlikely i'll be paying any back any time soon! so it's a bit daunting to owe 20k or whatver it is, but at the same time, they're not getting any of that back anytime soon and it's likely they'll never get it all back... bastards.

I wish I had a job.

I swear to god was happiest when I worked from 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. M-F, plus 1ish in the afternoon to 8ish at night on weekends.
It's a gift to have a job you love, even if it's intense at times.

I wish I could get a job that actually LET me work a decent amount of hours. Or they could just pay me a whole lot for the few hours I do work. Either one is good. Actually, the latter would be a lot better.

i work 10-11 hours a day - and thats not any overtime or anything. thats just the basic hours that we work. and starting at 6am to boot.
the student days were the best, but at some stage in your life you actually have to start earning money.

starmekitten Posted - 10/21/2005 : 04:03:44
I don't work, but I have this whole rent paying worry at the moment so once again I have to rebel here and get a job possibly working more than two hours a day.

Yay let´s see em run that machine without us. I had seven 45minute lectures a week in my final year which was too much to ask too, come to think of it I was on strike all the way through college.

I'll join. I stood in the rain for 30 minutes at 8:30am this morning, took the bus through the pouring rain for 15 minutes, walked through the maze of building works in the rain, and then the corridors to the lecture room, looked in, turned around, and walked home.

It was enough of an ordeal to get there, let alone convince the French lecturer a convincing reason as to why I was late.

hurrah, i'll join, 6 hours of lectures a week is far too much if you ask me
