This was the first time I'd seen her and what a great show! I heard she has a tendency to play a very short set if she feels the audience isn't responding but she played for over two hours so that was nice. The crowd was very much into it and would cheer after most of the verses and guitar leads. She played stuff from all her records plus a whole bunch of new songs she has not recorded yet. I don't know how many fans of hers are on this forum but chances are if your into the whole Honeycomb americana thing you'll like her, check her out if she hits your town. |

That's hilarious that you did that. Never know if you're gonna piss off the performer by shouting, sounds like you didn't. Now that you mention it, I do have a couple of dyke friends who love her a lot.

Absolutely true Kathryn, I had'nt seen fan devotion like that since NKOTB! A high point of the show (for me anyway) was her singing a very mellow and quiet, slow song where the chorus was "Where is my love?". After she stated said phrase the third or fourth time I shouted "RIGHT HERE!" which cracked her and the band up mid song. And not that it's a bad thing but I was surprised to find out that she's got a huge dyke following! :) |

she's supposed to be great in concert but personally insane. her fans' adoration in concert is the stufff of legend. you're saying that was true when you saw her?

cool!!!!! i would like to see her. she's a legend. thanks for the review! i got on the clue bus a little late and couldn't get tix for her a few months back... maybe tho with new material she'll be back???
