Posted - 08/09/2005 : 18:41:55 Alright Guys,
Sorry to bother you about computers again... last night I was pissing about on my computer and decided that I wanted to burn some of the CSS coding that I had been doing in a tutorial (so that if something ever happened to my computer I'd always have a reference of the CSS work that I had done).
So I picked out a CD that I had previously backed up my software copies of DWMX2004 and Photoshop CS, thinking that there was space left on these disk to accomodate the small (but numerous) files. When I successfully burnt the CSS files onto the disk I realised to my horror that it had overwritten my DWMX2004 and Photoshop backup.
Is it possible to copy the DWMX2004 and Photoshop folders (on my hard drive) onto another cd and then use those discs to install the software onto a laptop that I will be purchasing in the near future?
Sorry guys, I really know jack-all about computers nowadays.
Cheers
Stu

Posted - 08/10/2005 : 01:19:14 Sorry Stuart, don't think you can. There may be some jiggery-pokery you can do to do it, but it's way beyond my ken. There may also be a way to transfer the info directly onto an external hard disk (a complete drive image for instance)and then import it, but I've really no idea. Sorry.
Software in China isn't that expensive anyway, is it? ;)
