mommy's too smart for fu! ya, i guess i can't take credit for winning the baby pool. nice that you got to leave the hospital the next day. mrs. fu and i spent 3 nights in the hospital after our little one was born. everyone was healthy but the staff just wanted too make sure the rookie parents knew what they were doing.

Fumanbru guessed the date and weight correctly. The hockey skills and great musical taste are sure to follow.

Posted - 07/12/2005 : 11:29:25 heh, my wife went from 2cm to 10cm in about three hours. I think 10cm is about fully dilated. I think the speed accounted for the large amount of pain ;)
The head is usually the worst part.
On the section vs birth debate, my wife has had both and would much rather have a normal birth again than a section.
Good luck again Carolynanna

Posted - 07/12/2005 : 11:26:00 10 cm tre, 10 cm. Bones move too!
Seriously though, epidurals make it way way way easier. I had a nap at 8 cm dilated with the epidural. Without at 8 cm, I was begging to be knocked out...
