Although this subject sprung to mind because of Tre's moaning on the forum, I think this band warrant a thread anyway, I'm sure there hasn't been one in a while.
I actually haven't explored Throwing Muses as fully as I should have, they're one of those bands who I always feel I should buy more of but never get round to it. I only have 'Real Ramona', which is a classic album. The songs are superb, and the sound is magnificent: poppy and noisy in equal measures.
I got into TM a slightly backwards route: Belly -> Tanya Donelly -> Muses, but I'm glad I did because I've now extrapolated that another direction, to Kristin Hersh solo and Fifty Foot Wave (who are just awesome).
I've seen FFW, Tanya and Kristin solo now, and they were all stupendously good shows, and I think I definitely need to fill up my Muses collection (I've got all the Tanya and FFW stuff and I'm working on K). Any recommendations for next Muses album to buy welcomed.

How's that for a slice of fried gold?

Yeah Limbo is my fave so far too. I have 4 albums. Limbo, Real Ramona, University and the second self-titled album.

Don't believe the type!

My favorite TM album is probably 'Limbo', but...

1° I actually love everything they released after 'Hunkpapa'

2° IMO Kristin Hersh's 'Hips and Makers' and 'Sunny Border Blue' are even more impressive than 'Limbo'. Btw, SBB includes what may well be my all-time favorite song, 'Spain'
