can't seem to get enough of these three songs, especially "this tidal wave of young blood" and "over and over again(lost and found)". talking heads, violent femmes, the smiths, the cure all blendified. maybe i'll be sick of them in a week, if not i'll be buying the album. click on the song title under the music section on the right hand side to enjoy. tell me what you think.

Thank ye, kind sir.

"Blue Turning Grey" could easily be an Arcade Fire song, as could "Let the Cool Goddess Rust Away" if not for the vocals.

Sir Rockabye,

maybe I'll give it one more try.

I agree that I don't see much of an AF connection, but I don't agree on the one to two good singles. I'd say for the most part, although not every song is single worthy, I find none to be skip-worthy. I can't help but listen to the album from start to finish.

Aye Kirk, all i could think of was the VF..
Kirk Posted - 07/05/2005 : 20:52:51
They have a few interesting songs, but much of it too repetitious to me.

The vocals are totally Violent Femmes, but cranked up to 11 and distorted. Can be annoying at times. I don't think I can play the album multiple times in a row because of his voice. But, it's great for an ipod shuffle.

I can see a very little connection with the Arcade Fire. The AF has release a nearly perfect album. All CYHSYeah has are 1-2 good singles. Much of the album is a skip-track.

Very good. I'm impressed, particularly by 'Over And Over'

I have their album. They sit nicely with The Arcade Fire too.
