Check this out:

http://www.terra.cl/noticias/noticias.cfm?id_cat=1167&id_reg=507093

just click on the blue lines where it reads "VER FOTOS DE LOS PECES HALLADOS" and after that just click on "siguiente" which means "next" so you can see other pics. You'll see weird/cool species that were found after the Tsunami disaster, it seems that some of those fish were never seen before and it was unknown their existence in the sea.

Ever see that episode of Spongebob where he ends up in 'Rock Bottom' at the bottom of the sea with all the kooky fish?

I love deep sea fish, they're so weird.

This is great. Apart from the 200000-dead part, I mean.

woah, not wanting to sound arrogant but this really is old news... my biology teacher has had half of those pictures stuck to his classroom walls for the past 6 months.

still cool though!

I recently heard or read somewhere that 90% of marine species at least are still to discover

ooohh, thanks for posting those, very cool, kinda beautiful in their own freaky way, i dont know why we're so obsessed with finding aliens when we have that sort of thing on our own planet
Broken Face Posted - 06/26/2005 : 11:34:48
ha ha ha sci-fi'ish...sci-fish...ha ha ha

but really, those fish look like creatures from films - one looks like a sandworm from BEETLEJUICE and one looks like the alien from ALIEN
