Sorry, apparently it's called "messenger bag". Something like this:

A handbag?

I had my first Father's Day this year. Got me a CD, a handbag and a tee. That was great.

Weren't we gonna make a coffee thread specifically FOR Frank Black? We were going to give him directions to good coffee near that venues he was playing. That was last summer. I don't think it ever happened, but if such a thread ever gets started, it'll be applicable for every tour -- in every city/state/country he's ever in. And if any of us travels to any of those places, we'll already have a head start on where to go -- especially if we're like Jefrey and we love us some coffee.

Please pardon me, for these my wrongs.

I got my first Father's Day gift from my mother-in-law, which was a WebKinz:

http://www.webkinz.com/

Apparently they are all the rage with the kidz and sell out everywhere as soon as they get in stock.

My kid is only 7 months old though, so I guess I'll have to play with it...

And a gift certificate to the Coffee Fool, which is the real gravy. I love me some coffee. The David Lynch signature coffee is my current fave. We need a coffee thread.

I was treated to a lie in (9.30am)
Woken by a bacon sarnie wafted under my nose and a 2 year old using my bed as her trampoline
Was made a cup of tea, pint of in my new pint mug (couldn't drink it all)
Then watched my little one open up my pressies of socks, cake, poker chips and tees.

all in all was a lovely day with the family.
coastline Posted - 06/18/2007 : 14:34:19
I potentially sired children with three separate women yesterday.

Only kidding. I had a lovely day with my wife and two sons. The boys, 7 and 5, fancy themselves as chefs (because I won't let them watch much besides Food Network right now), so they decided to make me homemade ice cream. The ingredients: soymilk, sugar, powdered orange gatorade. (Freeze for 12 hours, then serve.) Thankfully there wasn't much gatorade.

Please pardon me, for these my wrongs.

Yeah, hope you had a good one, forum dads!

He part of one of the greatest ever moments on TV. Remember when he had Nirvana on his show?

"F'fwow fwow fwow, fwow f'fow."

Jonthan Ross is one of those TV personalites who are slightly annoying, but actually quite likable, good at their job, and occasionally funny. He was funnier when he was a panel guest on things ike They Think It's All Over, he seemed to make more of an effort. On FNWJR, he tends to just mention an amusing news story in between guests. Then again, to be fair, I suppose his function is as host/interviewer on that. I liked some of programmes he did in his earlier career, like The Incredibly Strange Film Show, which would feature Sam Raimi and people like that.

Thanks Sir. But if I really were a good father, my son wouldn't rank "Pistolero" among FB's best albums :)

Thanks.

My daughter is throwing a temper tantrum because I didn't choose to go to a chinese restaurant tonight.

I think I've contracted pink-eye.

Thanks for the wish. My son and I played all day until just now. That was the best present for me: seeing him laugh and talking to him about all kinds of funny stuff with his 5 year old perspective on things.
