He eats children? That's libelous.

if anyone can tame a cookie, it's CM.

Not really no. He is special though.

I'm glad I don't watch this show.

Zoe might be eating well, but I hear she purges once the cameras are off.

I'm just back into The Street as my son is now 2, but I watched it with my daughter pretty often a few years back.

Celebrity guests: Tom Bennett singing "Slimy to the Moon" was good. I like that song. We also have a tape with Joe Williams singing on Seasame Street. I remember Conan being funny, but now can't remember what he did.
tobafett Posted - 06/08/2005 : 21:03:40
boo!

Zoe's healthy eating habits are apparent to regular viewers. her relationship to her pet rock, Rocco, though, and her incessant attempts to make others recognize and dialogue with her pet are somewhat disturbing. to this regular viewer anyway.

can we also discuss the celebrity guest stars? seth green was pretty good. 1st lady mrs. bush was pretty good. john leguizamo was funny as hell. natalie portman made me a daily viewer.

For reals, darwin? I haven't seen Sesame Street in a decade or more. Is that
going on or are you kidding?

Or someone will come up to you on a street corner or at a really hip party where you thought everthing was groovy...and they offer you a cookie. and it smells good. and it looks good. and you can already taste five of them. and you know you'll hate yourself and you've let yourself down but you take the cookie. you think you should throw it away, it's not too late. but you eat the cookie. then you eat more.

i wonder if they'll make CM thinner...
starmekitten Posted - 06/08/2005 : 12:16:25
once a cookie eater though, always a cookie eater, you may not be eating the cookies but the cookies are always with you.

darwin Posted - 06/08/2005 : 12:07:35
Prairie Dawn has emotional issues about being the smallest on Seasame Street. She's overcompensating by trying to be mother figure for Cookie Monster.
tobafett Posted - 06/08/2005 : 11:54:52
Yeah, the new Cookie is a healthier Cookie and will live more years now he knows cookies are a sometime food.

I do miss the letter cookie of the day, tho...now it's just the Letter of the Day. Cookie still eats it...I think just to piss off Prarie Dawn.

Hmm, not much going on. I'm busily not working on a talk that I have to give in a week. I'm leaving for Alaska in 2 days (which should be fun) but none of my buddies are going to be there so it may suck.

This is the closest I've ever come to buying from a spammer. I didn't do it, though.

I don't know how much they thought about it, but I'm emotionally and intellectually invested in Cookie's struggles.

Wowzers Darwin, they have really thought about this haven't they?

I'd like to see an interview with CM, asking him how he feels about it.

darwin Posted - 06/07/2005 : 14:12:14
He still eats alot of cookies. But, he now recognizes that he was using cookies as a crutch for his insecurities. It's now a food item that he wants, rather than needs. It has all led to a much healthier self esteem for Cookie.

Now if they can just get Zoe to cope with her eating disorder and Ernie to quit playing with his "ducky" in public things would be much better in the neighborhood.
Homers_pet_monkey Posted - 06/07/2005 : 14:07:07
I can't believe they have done that to poor old Cookie Monster.

If you were watching this season of Seasame Street, you would know that cookies are a sometimes food. Fruits are an anytime food.

So, here you go. It's peach season.
