for one thing, i'm in good health. can't be thankful enough about that.. sure wouldn't be happy if i were immobilized or suffering in a hospital bed.

the sun is shining outside and there's a cool breeze coming through that feels really nice.

i just had a great sandwich.. it's nice to be able to eat. instead of starving to death, as some people are.

how about you?

I've seen an electric blue storm cloud over a pink one, both filled here and there with flashing lightnings.

You're welcome, Floop.

I'm seeing the New Pornographers tonight.

I was all out of luck, like a duck that died. I was all out of juice, like a moose denied.

I had an average morning, I suppose. I wish I hadn't had to get up as early as I did.

A forum member has single handedly restored my self confidence with one email.

(and also made me snort coffee out of my nose with laughter, but that should probably be in the "last thing I needed today thread")

Fire made it good.

I had stromboli for breakfast.

Ahhhhhh. Jealousy rears her ugly head!

Good things-all my cd's I left at work (all 100 of 'em) were right where I forgot them. Just worked out. Bout to go eat something. Don't know what, but it'll be good.

Yo, Brendan. Some wine. Red. Thanks.

Good things in my life: tomorrow is going to be the best day EVER.

That's twice in a week. Can't you tell floop's got a girl now?

I'd walk her everyday, into a shady place

There's some truth to that. It's a long season. 162 games. Each game is 3 hours long. Only a hardcore nut would watch 162 games (I do), but people like having it there all summer long and watching the ups and downs of their team.

I feel kinship with anyone that likes to talk baseball. I'm sure football (soccer) fans feel the same way, but I wonder if the two groups differ in how much they value history. Baseball is very traditional with reverence for the great players of the past.

Good things today: the coffee is tasty

Just checky the sarky levels there.

Trying to see if I can somehow get away with doing some form of hibernation for winter to solve that problem.

Fire made it good.

It means it's a shame that you have no clothes to wear.

It's good cos I fit into it now - though it's a cruel duel edged sword in that I've had to throw out most of my clothes and I've got a freezing winter to face and nothing to wear.

Fire made it good.
