what an awesome concert! despite the disconcerting news i received ten minutes before the show started it was one of the best i have ever been to on the whole. two songs into OKGO's set i went up to get a closer look and by the fifth song i was tapping my feet and cheering, they are great! the ending of the show was amazing. the guitarist looks like johnny depp, the singer/guitarist looks like beck, the bassist looks like david cross, and the drummer looks like your accountant. they all dress like franz and the futureheads and dance like napolean dynamite(wink, wink). i bought their cd single and am listening to it now, they said there album comes out sometime in august, can't wait.

the caeser's were also great, i had to choose between a KC shirt or a caeser's CD and chose the former but i will definitely be picking up their disc soon.

kaiser chiefs rocked, better than bloc party last week, i got a setlist, nuff said, what a night.

am i the only person who keeps thinking "kaiser roll" "ceaser salad" when i see this thread?

he stagedived at the gig i was at too, i helped pass him back to the stage.

speaking of which, the drummer from bloc party came out and did a stage dive at the end of their set. is stagediving coming back? a few guys got on stage during the show got up on stage and escorted off right away except for one dude that kele kept on stage and let sing along to the "is that a fact" (and other lyrics) parts of 'price of gas'.

Yeah I saw the kaisers in Brighton a while ago. They're such a great live band. Ricky stage-dived on my face. Twas a good night indeed.

I said "I wanna be a singer like Lou Reed"
"I like Lou Reed" she said sticking her tongue in my ear

The Kaiser Chiefs sounded good on Jools Holland. They're playing the Oxegen festival over here.

Yeah, OK Go definitely has an album out.

It was released in September 2002, if this page is to be believed.

hmmmm, the guy said ther album was coming out in august. maybe they have an indie release. the single i bought was on capitol records. maybe this is one of the few bands where the second album is better than the first?

I checked out OKGo's first (and possibly only) album from the library a few years ago. It was all right, but not spectacular.

OK Go are pretty damn good from what I've heard. Not really impressed by the the others but I "Get Over It" was great when it was a semi popular single, one of the only singles that I could enjoy for a lot time. "Blueside" by Rooney was another at that time, but a lot of people glossed over both of those.

shine, I've been thinking about this since reading your other post about the show
and I think your grandma would have wanted you to go to the show and have
a good time.

I like the Ceaser's single ('Jerk It Out' - smirk) but I can't imagine the rest of their album being as good. The same goes for OKGO (their single of a couple of years ago, 'Get Over It'), but maybe I should check them out.
