Posted - 05/29/2005 : 13:11:20 I'm hungry. But I hate deciding what to eat. You know, even though the food was usually piss poor, it was kind of nice not having to decide what to have for lunch when I was in school. They just gave it to you. Long story short, somebody tell me what to have for lunch. Here's the difficulty: no vegetables. |

Well, I'm in SOUTH Dakota, but there's not too much difference. I have relatives in North Dakota, too, though. But I do have sausages here. I think I'll fry some up with some sort of pasta. Hopefully that'll fill me up. Thanks!

Nah, you should order in English. They'd be more likely to understand you that way.

Yes, there are those of us who resort to such measures.

Posted - 05/29/2005 : 15:09:59 Sadly, the relatively flavorless rice doesn't agree with me. Maybe I should just go get a Chinese buffet and be sure to find something that I can actually eat. I always feel bad when my friends go to eat Chinese food and I wind up at McDonalds. |

Posted - 05/29/2005 : 15:02:48 but if you order chinese for delivery you don't have to order vegetables. some sweet and sour pork and rice would sort you out brother. maybe some teriyaki beef too, for good measure.. |

Posted - 05/29/2005 : 14:50:45 Let's put this as simply as possible: I'm a carnivore. I do eat wheats and grains. Bread goes great with meat and potatoes. Besides potatoes, corn, and some peas, all veggies are strictly off limits. It's a sad existence. So there's the problem with most Chinese. Just about everything involves a vegetable. By the time I find a way to narrow down something at a Chinese resteraunt, I've become so picky I just feel terrible. I hate specially ordering food. |

Posted - 05/29/2005 : 14:32:48 See, that'd be nice. I'd convince a friend to go get food for both of us then bring it back to my place, so I wouldn't even have to get up off the couch, but it's Memorial Day weekend, and everybody is gone. But the more traditional delivery approach is an option. |
