I'm hungry. But I hate deciding what to eat. You know, even though the food was usually piss poor, it was kind of nice not having to decide what to have for lunch when I was in school. They just gave it to you. Long story short, somebody tell me what to have for lunch. Here's the difficulty: no vegetables.

I was trying hard to maintain some illusion of decorum.

Forget carving it up, just tuck in.

And just as a sidenote, I have eaten since I started this thread. Several times, actually. However, I will revive this thread whenever I need help deciding. Others should as well.

Well, I'm in SOUTH Dakota, but there's not too much difference. I have relatives in North Dakota, too, though. But I do have sausages here. I think I'll fry some up with some sort of pasta. Hopefully that'll fill me up. Thanks!

Nah, you should order in English. They'd be more likely to understand you that way.

The souls of gluttons. It's like eating murder marinated in sin.

Yes, there are those of us who resort to such measures.

Sadly, the relatively flavorless rice doesn't agree with me. Maybe I should just go get a Chinese buffet and be sure to find something that I can actually eat. I always feel bad when my friends go to eat Chinese food and I wind up at McDonalds.
floop Posted - 05/29/2005 : 15:02:48
but if you order chinese for delivery you don't have to order vegetables. some sweet and sour pork and rice would sort you out brother. maybe some teriyaki beef too, for good measure..
prozacrat Posted - 05/29/2005 : 15:00:31
Okay. I'm going to go look through my kitchen, if I can only get my cat off of my chest. She's fat and I'm weak. We'll see how this goes.

Just cook some tofu, it's very healthy for carnivores!

prozacrat Posted - 05/29/2005 : 14:50:45
Let's put this as simply as possible: I'm a carnivore. I do eat wheats and grains. Bread goes great with meat and potatoes. Besides potatoes, corn, and some peas, all veggies are strictly off limits. It's a sad existence. So there's the problem with most Chinese. Just about everything involves a vegetable. By the time I find a way to narrow down something at a Chinese resteraunt, I've become so picky I just feel terrible. I hate specially ordering food.

Damn! I forget the rules of the thread once again!

How about just tiramisu? Two slices?

Chinese?
prozacrat Posted - 05/29/2005 : 14:40:43
That might have a little too much vegetable for my non-vegetable diet.
kathryn Posted - 05/29/2005 : 14:38:17
Order in Italian. Have 'em deliver you some Cesaer (sp?) salad and eggplant parm and a big slice of tiramisu. Or is that too girlie a meal?

prozacrat Posted - 05/29/2005 : 14:32:48
See, that'd be nice. I'd convince a friend to go get food for both of us then bring it back to my place, so I wouldn't even have to get up off the couch, but it's Memorial Day weekend, and everybody is gone. But the more traditional delivery approach is an option.
floop Posted - 05/29/2005 : 14:26:09
what about delivery?
prozacrat Posted - 05/29/2005 : 14:25:00
If I must go out I will. I'd prefer not to, because I'm lazy. But anything is an option right now.
floop Posted - 05/29/2005 : 14:21:04
are you open to going out, or is this a "what should i eat that's in my kitchen" thing?
prozacrat Posted - 05/29/2005 : 14:20:19
I think so. In essence, this entire thread is about humoring me. And anybody else who needs help deciding what to eat.
floop Posted - 05/29/2005 : 14:11:51
do i really even have to tell you what i'd suggest?
prozacrat Posted - 05/29/2005 : 14:03:14
I should eat my vegetables. And there are some here. I just don't like them. I'm working on it though. It was my birthday last weekend, and my parents are finding me a juicer so I can hide vegetables in fruit juice. But I do love peanut butter.
