aside from the painfully obvious, can you think of some other famous people who were born in Long Beach California?

here's a few:

Snoop Dogg

Nicholas Cage

Bo Derek

I thought it would be something like that.

I was all out of luck, like a duck that died. I was all out of juice, like a moose denied.

What's denial? Does it have anything to do with rivers in Egypt?

floop Posted - 06/02/2005 : 14:54:36
who's "f"?
tobafett Posted - 06/02/2005 : 14:53:29
Look k and f (you know who you are),

why don't you guys let this one go?

if you're gonna have a SPAT about this truth vs. non-truth topic(when we all know who's correct), just have a good yell at one another 'til you're hoarse and kiss and make out up?

and let the rest of us get some sleep, huh?

jeez.
floop Posted - 06/02/2005 : 14:23:30

I read Frank's post shortly after he posted it. But my roommates were gone all day, and I was feeling an urge to be sarcastic.
kathryn Posted - 05/31/2005 : 16:59:00
prozacrat:

true, floop did not refer to that but he alluded to it. Big
diff, dude.

So you copped a read, huh? Good for you.

Maybe now you can read Frank's post where he answers the question
of whether he was born in Long Beach. His answer was "NOT
EVEN CLOSE" (capitals mine for emphasis).

Just sayin' .

Even though this thread did not begin by referring to Frank Black, as floop has clarified, I must disagree with you kathryn. I read this weekend in that wonderful, amazingly accurate biography about the Pixies, "Gigantic," that Frank was born in Long Beach. IF IT WAS IN THAT BOOK IT MUST BE THE GOSPEL TRUTH!!!!!

But your discourse stating otherwise was entertaining.

P.S. I didn't buy the book. I just flipped through a few pages at a Barnes & Noble this weekend.
floop Posted - 05/31/2005 : 14:20:44
i think he was born in NY. but he lives in my hood, Venice CA (i saw him once in the passenger seat of a very nice BMW with a hot chick driving)
hawken Posted - 05/31/2005 : 14:17:33
Was Perry Ferral(sp?)?
floop Posted - 05/31/2005 : 14:15:39

floop Posted - 05/31/2005 : 14:01:55
i can think of another early-90's rock star who was born in Long Beach, CA..

can you guess who i'm talking about?
hawken Posted - 05/31/2005 : 13:57:17
Bradley Nowell from Sublime. That guy could sing.

do you have to make every thread about Frank and the Catholics?
kathryn Posted - 05/29/2005 : 11:37:18
I think Frank's attractive. Sadly, because he was not born
in Long Beach, he doesn't belong in this thread.

Acceptance: the answer to your problems today, floop!
