I just remembered I have no classes left until Tuesday evening and it being Friday night, my programming insists I go out and act like a buffoon. Goodnight sweethearts xxxxx Owen.

Next time, take photographic and audio evidence and post it, dammit!

Reggae? Oh no.

So I was severely outshined at the weekend as regards buffooonery, Barcelona won the Spanish league and the whole city was jammed with folk wearing red and blue screaming their livers out leaving trails of beercans, spent firecrackers, torn newspapers and one disembowelled fridge(!) in their wake. I did however bring my uke to the park where lots of our songs went through the process of reggaefication.

If I can get a ticket! I have the sitters and the husband
all lined up. It'll be the first night ever I'll have spent away
from my kid. Last time I saw them in Boston was
the Thanksgiving show in 91. Fourteen years, a long
fucking time. I am so due!

You are seeing the Pixies in Boston? Oh man!

Oh, sorry. I'm just excited about being in Boston for the Pixies.
A million apologies for highjacking his thread. I saw that
tidbit in the Boston Globe about ukeleles and thought of Owen...

No but I am going to Boston, next month for a certain concert.
Like Hugo I love that dirty water...down by the banks of the River
Charles. You know, where Frank was born.

Are you going to an orgy?

Owen, thought you might want to know that while you were having your wild night I read in the
Boston Globe that Cars guitarist Elliot Easton was spotted playing a ukulele
at an antique fair in Beantown yesterday. (Also read an interview of
the Gang of Four boys, who play the Avalon Monday night. Quote by
GOF drummer Hugo Burnham "Boston on the horizon...love that dirty water." Sure do!)

Have fun!
And let us know if you wake up married on Monday.

Damn! I thought there was going to be a wedding ceremony!
Perhaps because a forum member just suggested we get married.

Have fun, Owen. Be very very good.
