Excellent CD, even if it's from Texas
Some Doug Sahm Covers, ZZ TOP or Buddy Holy.
Worth a listen for all SMYT and Honeycomb fans.

Isn't this the band with the sunglasses wearing guy from Los Lobos? Haven't heard it but the other main dude in Los Lobos and another LL member got a band called Latin Playboys whose two albums I've just picked up and am currently obsessing over. Good stuff.

I found and bought it at the local Virgin store yesterday. Nice album, full of charm and talent - the Doug Sahm covers would make a dead man dance -, but it sounds much more tex-mex than country-folk to my ears. I mean, not sure all Honeycomb fans would like it.

When will Frank find Lyle, Nick and Eric Drew again?
