in an effort to further widen the gap between high-posters and non-high-posters, and, hopefully, increase animosity, i'd like to extend this invitation to all the top 10 posters (you know who you are)..

come on in..

take a load off. have a drink.

let's gossip about all those under-4000ers

the top 10?

Probably. On the Internet, nobody knows you're a cat.

I used to be Greek, but I was ostracized for corrupting the youth of Athens.

I was all out of luck, like a duck that died. I was all out of juice, like a moose denied.

Is that Karaiskakes?

Mun, where were you on the 25th of March? Dean and I
had a wonderful Greek celebration. You would have been
proud of us.

Floop, you are so thoughtful! Massage is wonderful
for pregnant women. But they can't soak in hot tubs,
so I'll just get in by myself.

Ooops. I just noticed that I forgot to put Sir Rock's name
in my last post. Speaking of whom, may I have another
drink? You don't mind fetching us drinks eventho you
are underage, right?

i like to think of C.T.T. as kind of a luxury resort. which it is.

perhaps you'd be interested in checking out the health spa Carolyananna? we've got full-time swedish massage experts back there (and you can get a manicure at the same time)..

and cheeseman, maybe a little nautilus?!

*punches Cheeseman in the gut, in jest*

What I especially like about is how silent he is. That's
a good quality in an under 5k employee, don't you agree.

Well, there's 9.34 posts a day (cool), and 10.16 posts a day (internet geek). But, we're still both at home in this fine establishment, so let's not bicker, hmm?

Now how about some afternoon tea? Make mine a Darjeeling ("the Champagne of teas").

I propose some sort of entry fee, along the lines of kleftiko, a regular supply of goat's cheese. That would satisfy me: I have no problems with Greeks in general, I'm surrounded by them most of the time, but y'know, you can't just go bending rules like that.

Honestly, this shouldn't really be an issue. The only full-on Greeks here shouldn't be posting in this club anyway, I'm surprised the doormen didn't sort that out.

They (Greeks) are presented in a more than flattering
light in the Top 10 here and that's the only place
that matters.

floop Posted - 04/20/2005 : 16:21:05
i don't know the specifics, but i know it must have been bad.

they (Greeks) are presented in a less-than-positive light in the books. and that is an understatement
Cult_Of_Frank Posted - 04/20/2005 : 16:19:51
I'm pretty sure whatever souvlaki-related incident occurred at the time of confederation, it can be made up for with lamb and/or tzatziki depending on the severity of th esouvlaki infraction (are we talking undercooked, razor sharp wooden shard lodged in roof of mouth, unintentional skewering, intentional skewering, ???). It's pretty much international law.

Or we could have a language test? Whoever can
understand "i yiayia mou kanei katapliktiki makaronada"
can be allowed. But only if they have a good source
of oregano.

Mun Chien looks too Greek. it'll never work.

he'll never make it past the "NO GREEKS!" sign nailed on the front door
Cult_Of_Frank Posted - 04/20/2005 : 16:15:57
I suppose that's reasonable. Take a look back and see if Mun Chien can work his way in through some sort of lamb related feast...

we can let Dean stay until we get things straightened out in the books. but for now can we keep it on the down low? (that he's Greek)

floop, I'm half Greek. Gotta bend the rules a bit, OK?
How about, no Greek men? Wait. Dean's among the
elite, the best, the most wonderful....the Top Ten. How
about this? No mun. Because 1.5 Greeks in the
Top Ten is enough Greeks. There's a plausible excuse. Not
that you need an excuse.
