hello happy starfish,
how is everyone doing? i'm alright myself.
the sun is beaming, radiating here in michigan. well, maybe not so much today. the clouds were looking sad but they held back their tears.
i just read an interview with frank from way back in november where he said that nirvana was too poppy. i think maybe someone should sit him down and make him listen to 'bleach'? certainly everything the pixies did was more poppy than that record. though no pixies album was as polished as 'nevermind', but they never had butch vig dialing the dials and knobbing the nobs.
i'm almost done with work for the day. then i will drive my reichmobile across the american autobahn -- as sorry an imitation of the original as Bush (the band, not the fascist) -- to my humble hovel and wrap myself in cotton and darkness.

Hi Ebb, good to see things are OK with you. Couldn't agree more with your comments. About A Girl is the only poppy song Bleach. Pixies are pop pop pop, and there is nothing wrong with that. How can anyone be "too poppy" anyway?

What's new in your part of the woods?
I must say I do really like all of Nirvana's stuff. Bleach is by far my favorite. But I to agree that nevermind, if released today would be poppy. However they pale in comparison to the Pixies.
