(Pearl Jam, 2000, digipack)
Just bought this cd yesterday... Not the best PJ album, but its cover is really superb, almost fascinating imo.

I could think of a lot of 4AD record covers I like, but there are too many.
I really like the design on The Sugarcubes remix album, the green one with the bees.

I've heard the movie sucks, as every one of the latest Spielberg movies.
Anyway, it reminded me this one:
Back in the time this was the object that scared me the most in my childhood. I had terrible nightmares every time I gave a single look, or heard a short part, but I was fascinated with it. Maybe it was a shitty record, but I'm gonna get it again and judge it by myself.
El amor es la distancia más larga entre un punto y otro
They filmed some of it here in my small town in the middle of nowhere. The big deal was when Tom Cruise would go to Dairy Queen or put 100$ bills in the salvation army cans at Wal Mart. Ah, redneck paradise.
They also actually destroyed a couple parts of a country road to make it look like it was bombed or something. I'm glad I don't live on that road.

The guy I am thinking of is more spacey. He draws spaceships, planets and space stations.

I like this one too. It reminds me a little of a science-fiction artist from the 70's (I think). I am not sure what the guy's name was but his artwork was in a couple of books I had as a kid. The books were just full of science fiction art, just picutures of spaceships and space stations etc. I'd give anything to find out who he is.
