i keep thinking, well he'll realise what he's missing, his family and stuff growing up, before it's too late. but doesn't look likely at the mo. maybe he'll realise on his death-bed, and it'll serve him right. but hey, we'll see! i'm right here if he ever wants to see me...

OK: Ferry Cross the Mersey is an old Liverpool song, as covered most notably by Gerry (Marsden) & The Pacemakers in the early sixties.
This would be some sort of lame cash in somewhere along the line, involving the Christians (lame), Paul McCartney (lame), Holly Johnson (of Frankie Goes To Hollywood) and the songwriting/pop production machine of SAW, responsible for such lumini as Kylie Minogue and Rick Astley.

Gonna find my baby, gonna hold her tight
Gonna grab some afternoon delight
My motto's always been 'when it's right, it's right'
Why wait until the middle of a cold dark night?
When everything's a little clearer in the light of day
And we know the night is always gonna be there any way

Thinkin' of you's workin' up my appetite
Looking forward to a little afternoon delight
Rubbin' sticks and stones together makes the sparks ingite
And the thought of lovin' you is getting so exciting
Sky rockets in flight
Afternoon delight
Afternoon delight
Afternoon delight

and so on ...............
