Very angry I missed this. At least it was supplemented with live jazz and chinese food.

Are you honest when no one's looking? Can you summon honey from a telephone? They sat there with their hooks in the water and their mustaches caked with airplane glue.

I saw it! I'm so happy now, thank you again Speedy!!!

Which one? What was her accent like? I assume it's some sort of French Candian type accent (whatever the hell that sounds like).
starmekitten Posted - 03/11/2005 : 15:29:06
actually... whilst I do love the band and they do make a sweet couple, her accent is a bit dicey sometimes... have you seen that other internet-thing... made me cringe a little

I thought you had already but I wasn't sure. I think Regine is quite cute too. They make a lovely couple.
starmekitten Posted - 03/11/2005 : 15:13:14
I posted a picture of him already but I'm SURE no one will mind if my rampant hormones take over this thread a little....

Yup Manchester, ticket should be winging it's way to me

Yeah I was thinking that when I watched them. Perhaps you should post a picture of him in the relevant thread.

So you coming to Manchester KittY?
starmekitten Posted - 03/11/2005 : 14:33:05
I just ordered my tickets! woo! yay!

imo Win Butler is kind of cute too.

Shit now it's working but I was about to settle down to watch a film.

EDIT: Sod the film for now, this is excellent stuff. Thanks Mike 2.

Win Butler has excellent taste in guitars.
speedy_m Posted - 03/11/2005 : 12:42:13
I'm watching without problem. They opened with Wake Up, now they're starting into Laika.
Homers_pet_monkey Posted - 03/11/2005 : 12:37:37
It just fucking stopped! As soon as they came on stage it cut off, and it won't play now. All that for the shitty support act.

Mike 2, you have a lot to answer for matey!
Homers_pet_monkey Posted - 03/11/2005 : 12:15:15
Ben Dover has pissed off now, they should be on soon.
speedy_m Posted - 03/11/2005 : 12:08:45
It's working okay for me now.
Cult_Of_Frank Posted - 03/11/2005 : 12:00:42
Yeah, I'm out. A cool idea if it had worked.

So another 1/2 hour then? I wasn't getting anything.
Llamadance Posted - 03/11/2005 : 11:41:20
iirc the Low one started with some of the support act and then a half hour or so's hiatus till they came on.

My god it's quiet.

EDIT: Hang on, this isn't them. What's going on here?

DOUBLE EDIT: Benjamin Sodding Winter!?!?!?
Cult_Of_Frank Posted - 03/11/2005 : 11:31:10
Weird to be at work watching a bunch of people mingle in a club somewhere in Amsterdam through a tiny window in the corner of my screen.

If I could only knew how to watch it...and if I hadn't had to cook dinner, I would be much more happy!
Thanks Speedy!

I saw the Low one late last month which was fantastic. I think it's up there on the site now. - 22/2/5 I think.

I might watch this, because despite everyone raving about them, and having heard a couple of tracks, they've not exactly set my world alight. *heresy*
