I figured we could all use a place to get together and discuss the greatness of Yngwie Malmsteen. His amazing guitar playin' skillz, his amazing knowledge of musical theory skillz, his tight leather pants skillz, etz. And pictures always help, especially with "appreciating Yngwie's crotch" skillz.

Don't forget his scalloped fretboard and his primadonna attitude. We used to call him "Wingnut J. Beerstein".
Circa 1984 I went to see The Circle Jerks open for Alcatrazz (when Wingnut was in the band). It was such a weird bill I couldn't pass it up. I went with my friend who was a Wingnut fan from his work in Steeler (my God, I know too much). The Jerks played amidst a few stage divers. Then came the long wait between bands, until it was finally revealed that Alcatrazz refused to play (like anyone was going to go up to stagedive for fucking Alcatrazz). So the rest of the show was cancelled.
