You'd have to have very long arms to show how big a cow was with them.

bless little steve lamacq

*I mean every week he played which I think was one in three, we're going back some here though

Life is pain, Highness. Anyone who says differently is selling something.

god I forgot about Rob Jones, the bass thing. I used to love the wonderstuff, and when me and mrs d got married that smoochy first dance that couple tend to embarrass themselves over, well ours was size of a cow.

They said, “You’re overqualified.
Why don’t you learn to tune your damn guitar?”

'twas good, the man can sing (yell and croon). played mostly older stuff with about 5 or 6 new song thrown in, played for an hour and a half. miles hunt told a cool little story about - "when i opened for the pogues and joe strummer and the mescaleros in ireland (or england?) and afterwards we were drinking (joe, shane mcgowan , miles and joe's wife) and as joe's wife was dragging him away because it was getting early in the morning joe strummer put his arm around me and said 'you really have to make another album with that band you played in, you guys were fucking great', and when joe strummer tells you to do something, you fucking do it!" and then he said "sometimes i hope rob(jones, former bassist, died after 2nd album), joe, and deedee (ramone) are looking down on us when we play, this one is for them and they played piece of sky.

They're probably playing here, but I'm exercising my right to free will and avoiding it. Bizarrely, someone just put the CD on at work.

I'm like a lost snail in the night.

There's an unreleased They Might Be Giants song called "Tumbleweed," which sounds to me like it would have made a great opener for an album. Such is probably never to be, though.

"Reunion? Shit union!"
