Have anyone heard of him or his music, a compilation untitled 'Lonely Planet Boy' was recently released.

Some of his songs really stick up to my mind. He was highly critised for being a pure Bowie-Ziggy ripp-off...

I think he was THE ULTIMATE Ziggy ripp-off.

Have an ear, it is quite an experience if you like that 72-74 arty-glam rock.

Morrisey who is a fan described him as 'the Eno we knew in 73, that could actually sing and play well'...

Didn't The Simpsons once do a parody of Davey and Goliath called "Gravy and Jobriath"?

I have Jobriath's self-titled. Heard the hype, decided to investigate.

It's really over-the-top. I do like "Take Me I'm Yours" though.

Don't care for much else on the album.

Jobriath is allmusic.com's Spotlight artist right now, BTW.
