i also own albums by HDQ, Hole, Happy Mondays.
Gibby Haynes would be in the H's, just like Hendrix.

Posted - 03/03/2005 : 05:36:25 This is probably the weakest letter yet. I guess I will have to go with Hole. Runners up Buddy Holly and Hot Hot Heat.
I suspect that Kristin Hersh would win if I actually heard some of her solo stuff. |

Posted - 03/03/2005 : 02:04:20 new day rising is my favorite, but kinda like picking your favorite FB album, they are all great especially zen arcade and flip your wig.
great songwriting on workbook and black sheets of rain(pre-sugar solo stuff), IMO.

Posted - 03/03/2005 : 01:50:44 which ones do you need denis? they are pretty cheap here, especially when on sale, i bet you i could get all 4 sst releases and the 2 non-live warner releases new for under $100 canadian including tax or used for about $75. the only album i don't have is "everything falls apart" and the warner live release "the living end". don't forget bob mould's other work solo and with sugar on both sides, all awesome! i really don't know who i like better as far as body of work goes, probably have to give the nod to frank but still......

Posted - 03/03/2005 : 01:40:49 Add one vote for Hüsker Dü. I wish I had all their albums but they're so freaking expensive here for some reason. I'm gonna check the amazon marketplace and see if I can find some.
Funny how nobody mentioned PJ Harvey.

Posted - 03/02/2005 : 23:17:56 I would list Kristin Hersh, but I still mainly think of her as a T (the Throwing Muses). But that's pretty inconsistent since I just listed George Harrison who is predominantly a B. |

My keyboard has a lot of dots, because we use a lot of them...but I don't know if it's special.
