I noticed there is also a Merlin java (I think) game out on the internet, but I couldn't get it to work on my Mac.
tobafett Posted - 03/10/2005 : 00:58:27
Didn't you have to slide little cards into the thing so that you'd have to hit the buttons through the little card or something?

actually, nevermind LBF...go to ebay and look up "merlin game"...there are several on there...look for one that's sealed in original box--it has instructions and stuff on the back of the box pic...

I had one of those and it's killing me because I can't remember what the fuck it did and how to play it?

Please, someone tell me what the buttons were for and how the game was played.

I searched the house for that little gadget but I guess it's in a landfill somewhere.

Damn, I can believe I can't remember how to sue that fucker.

Oh man, that's a blast from the past. I remember those and I remember them being fun, but I have no clue what they did. Do you remember?

Around the same time (I think) was Simon.

Was there ever a Pac-Man card game? If not, there should have been!

I always liked Centipede and Space Invaders. I've been playing so much pac man lately I'm playing it in my dreams, except the power pills are 2 playing cards dealt down, usually Ace King, because I play too much poker... I'm going insane

Cool. Mattel Basketball was good, too.

I just wanted to post here, seeing as it is a video game topic. I think I am addicted to Silent Hill 4. Thank you.

The original River Raid was awesome:

As was Enduro!

I spent HOURS with these games. Another game I played a lot was the Adenvture of Lolo. It was for NES. I played it so much one night, my NES overheated and died. The game just went blank. I screamed.

I used to like the old Pac-Man game for Atari.

Wasn't the Atari Pac-Man blurry and not very good?

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned ET yet. I know people have called that the worst game of all time.

I didn't have an Atari. I did have a Texas Instruments computer, which had some rip-offs of Atari games (e.g., "TI Invaders" instead of Space Invaders, and "Munch Man" instead of Pac-Man).

Hey Darwin,
Remember how you could run up the score on the football game? Wait with your guy (blip) on the bottom left hand corner and wait for the defense blips to come after you and boom!, all the way to the top (I had better luck actually running along the bottom) and all the way across for a TD! kickoff, get the ball back w/ a short kick and do it again! a great game...

My god, just how OLD are you Mike!?!??!

The oldest console i remember having I cant remember the name of. But we played road rage on it, i remeber that. it was brilliant. Just before sega, i think, or maybe just after. Huge think, but similar control pads to sega.

I still have one of those Binatone consoles. You know the orange ones where you could play tennis, or squash, or football (soccer). The graphics were the most basic ever. With the tennis for example, your player was just a line on each side and a small square that used to be the ball. You used to turn the dial on your controller to line your player up with the ball to let it bounce off. Bloody adictive though, but then 2 player games often are.

Here's the fella.
