Crap. I tried to represent. But he kicked my butt in bowling. 30 was an all time low score. Usually I get at least 70 but no more than 90.
Tell me about your bowling stories. I know there are some Big Lebowski fans out there. |

I love a good bowl, and actually might go bowling tomorrow night, if I can't find a decent picture to attend. Despite my religous background, I do roll on the Shabbos, so no guilt there. My best score ever was around a 170, if I remember correctly. I'm slowling improving each visit I make to the alley. I've always wanted to swipe a pair of the bowling shoes, but I've never had the guts to do so. They're so slick.

I like bowling, but I really suck. I remember the first time I tried, and I got one strike and nine gutter balls. I'm only slightly better than that now.

That 19 game was a fluke...damn bad balls.
We can never get the bumper lanes for some reason.
I know we'd both do better.
They do that crap with the lights and the red pins and hours of loud Nickleback and J.Lo here too but it packs the place.
There are enough Carhart jackets, NASCAR shirts and camo baseball hats to make you think you're in some hick town in appalachia.

There's a guy on another board I post on who has had 21 '300' games, which is just awesome. The highest game at our local bowling alley is 299, which means the poor guy got 9 on his 12th ball after 11 strikes. THAT is heartbreaking.

you guys are talking 10-pin right. my typical 10-pin score is about 120-140 (i bowled a 215 once). and 5-pin i usually knock them all down but it will take me 2 or 3 balls most times.

I like bowling too. I'm not very good. I probably typically get about 120 and my high score up around 170.
How do go from a 170 to a 19? A 19 means something 16 out of 20 balls were in the gutter. |

I love bowling. We used to have a bowling lane in our rec center in college. Imagine the campus excitement, and it was a dry county too.
I wish we could get an FBnet bowling league together. That would be a cool ass time. Plus, I could actually beat someone, judging by these scores. ;) |

someone needs to introduce you guys to bumper bowling. even i'm not that bad. i go bowling with my friends all the time because, well, i'm a dork. there are a bunch of alleys down in miami that are trying to make it hip by having laser shows on the lanes, club lighting, music, fancy bowling shoes, all that jazz. it was hideous and the place was fucking deserted.

i was in a bowling league when i was like 10 and i used to love it. i'd almost like to join a league with my friends now just for shits and giggles but my friends never want to do anything.

I beat him by four pins.
