Monsieur, if you wanna talk about 80s bands with weird haircuts
there are worse offenders than Echo and the boys. May I say to you
three scary words? Flock of Seagulls.

I still believe in the excellent joy of the Frank

I once made an ass of myself saying I had heard a cover of Pavement's Killing Moon by Echo & the Bunnymen and that the original was better. Since then I've been meaning to get their albums but never did.

I found those bands a little bit funny, with their haircuts and all.

Still, very good album.

I will show you fear in a handful of dust

I know you know the answer, babe.

Actually, and this kinda scares me, I was thinking about starting an Echo
thread myself. Strange to be sharing a mind with a Sasquatch!

This album still destroys every fiber of my being:

Fate, up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to him

In starlit nights I saw you
So cruelly you kissed me
Your lips a magic world
Your sky all hung with jewels
The killing moon
Will come too soon

I still have no clue what the lyrics mean, but, man, it sounds good!

I still believe in the excellent joy of the Frank

I used ti love the Echo & the Bunnymen, seven seas, swimming them so well!

So this is for when you're feeling happy again
And this is for when you're feeling sad
And this is for when you feel...

i saw in the store the other day they are re-releasing their first albums with bonus tracks, i assume they're b-sides from singles and stuff.

The first album rocks. I never get tired of "Villier's Terrace."
