I seriously doubt that.

Pretty good. I'll give it a 9.5.

Sure, why not?

IMHO opinion Kathryn is right about bloggers seeming pitiful.

==edit==
I was searching for some info the other day (can't remember what it was about) and found a page that seemed relevant. After reading an apparently informative paragraph, I had a creepy realization: I was reading a blog. Instantly, I mentally backpedalled, discarded the information and continued my search elsewhere.
kathryn Posted - 02/11/2005 : 13:24:22
I was just emailing someone that I should not have posted that, seeing
how many forumites have blogs and how I have not read any of said forumite-blogs. So I was neither referencing nor insulting you. And I do
apologize.

But I do stand by my opinion, my ever so humble, opinion that I have been put to sleep by most blogs that I have read (and I have not read yours and if I had I would be singing its praises and yours, am I sure).

How's that for backpeddling? Is that good? Are we kosher now? Are we cool?

Hey, I have a blog! Are you calling me ridiculous?

"Reunion? Shit union!"
kathryn Posted - 02/11/2005 : 12:46:45
It is my humble opinion that most blogs are ridiculous. Rare and welcome is the blog that interests and amuses. Most blogs engender in the reader a feeling of pity for the blogger. Just my humble opinion.

No, that's for arrogant and self-indulgent opinions. I wouldn't say my comment goes THAT far.

In my humble opinion, there is no such thing as a humble opinion.

I don't like sports in general, but American football is the worst. In my not-so-humble opinion, that is.

though i don't watch tv (go ahead, mock) i have managed to view
that fine ad, which says a lot about my devotion to the nhl and should
count as yet more proof of my being worthy of canadian citizenship.

I don't suppose you've ever seen the Molson Canadian beer commercial with all the various guys crying in their beer singing Do You Really Want to Hurt Me. Its pretty funny. I couldn't find a link sorry.

It's not just the Brits you need to beat. It's the rest of the world. One day you will learn that you just don't win arguments with me.

Homers, one Canadian counts as 10 Brits for our purposes here.

Not enough I'm afraid. We win!

Rita, I gathered you didn't like football when you claimed that Portugal were the best.

Simon, I don't even know why I watch International friendlies anymore. They nearly always dissapoint.

The original "Dream Team" was '92, however the '04 team was much more enjoyable.
Carolynanna Posted - 02/09/2005 : 16:33:39
Our dream team was in the 80s, sniffle sniffle.

Canadians, those beacons of world opinion.

I'd hate to think of the term Beautiful Game being applied to tonight's England game, that was one of the least interesting matches I've seen in ages. What the hell was Sven thinking putting Andy Johnson onto the right wing and keeping Downing inside? What was he thinking allowing Owen Hargreaves anywhere near the team (again).

Rita, I watched the England vs Portugal match in a pub this year (which I don't normally bother with), and I by the end of it I would've taken the opportunity to punch Cristiano Ronaldo in the face given the chance. He's just got one of those smackable crybaby faces. Raucous cheers all round whenever Ashley Cole landed a solid tackle on him.

And Tony: shall we talk football from 55 years ago, or shall we talk about the basketball in this years Olympics. Yugoslavia or something right? Go Dream Team!

In my humble origin, I may be wrong about the origin of the term "The Beautiful Game".
