I am glad that you are not in my area. After writing that comment and seeing your reply it made me feel creepy. There is a fort in our area that would rival yours. I think our fort may have even had a roof to it if it didn't become so mild so quickly.
Oh well. Have fun in Alberta.

Nah you got it wrong Brendan, I'm in Alberta.
Although we did have some milder and it did shrink considerably, its back to chilly and we had more snow so maybe we'll do some reconstruction.

Hey. I am kidding as far as being percieved as some "stalker-ish" type. I have no idea exactly where you live but I have an idea that it is the Mr. and Mrs Saga area of beautiful Southern Ontario. I must have passed that fort a half a dozen times. Is it surviving the milder weather?

Really? You live that close to each other?

And you never know VoVat, we may need those castles if you decide to invade our country too.

Love, love, my season

No need. We have real fucking castles here pal! They are part of our HISTORY!

So you're going to use them for snowball fights?

Well, I guess they aren't being used for much else nowadays, are they?

It took the afternoon for 3 adults and a couple kids.
We built it with 5 gallon buckets sand castle style.

And Dean, I have no idea, but I wish you hadn't pointed that out to me. It must be a German castle.

Mike, what's the deal with the little kids looking up that guy's leotard as he stands open-legged looking down on them? Is this some sort of ancient "I'm a lord, look how much bigger I am than you peasants in every respect" kind of thing or what's the deal?

i've only seen snow twice, but my when i was little my friends and i used to make forts by growing those 8 foot tall sunflowers and staking them into place. we had teepees, mazes, secret rooms, and we'd hide around corners and blast eachother with water guns. the best part - you never had to worry about frostbite and hypothermia.
