in siapnat that time it was a kind of Fb, count that all the rock dinos were pretty alive then and if you listen to these albums or even goodbye yellow brick road it is pretty far from being pop..i had american editions so they included the lyrics . while Bernie Taupin wrote for him he made his best songs, as frank he masters a lot of musical styles and recorded with top musicians
i like most of his music, excepting the cheesy pop that makes lately but tiny dancer always reminds me of someone, also recommend This Song has no Title in GbYBR

you know, my dad won tickers on the radio to see elton john and he wasn't really up for it but it was something to do, he went and said it was a great show, few of the cheesy shit songs and a lot visual fun
and for someone with a reputation for being a diva he took the piss out of himself a lot, he knows he's a parody of himself and he knows he has this rep so he lives up to it some
i'm not a fan though

Elton John is amazing. I don't own any of his cds and his style of music isn't always my fave, but he's a great artist. I he is smashing and speaks his mind. He was an AIDS advocate before it was cool and he's a great talent.
I can't remember if it was Letterman on Thurs and he was putting down Madonna and everyone else who lipsyncs.
