I wonder what you all feel about telepathy. The most I have ever experienced is thinking about someone randomly during the day, then having them call me right at that very instant on the telephone.

Friday night I was at a dinner party with some new friends, and two of the guests said they regularly have telepathic experiences. Before you blow them off as drunken kooks, I must say that they are both extremely bright, one of them owns his own advertising firm, and the other is a law school graduate working for a film production company. They are both in their mid thirties. They both said that they have always had "gifts" of being able to get in someone's head after speaking with them for just a few minutes and can tell them all kinds of things about them even if they are total strangers. Pretty wild. You think you're up on things and then this stuff comes along...

Yeah then all we'd need is Ice Man and we could be a supergroup.

You tell me what I feel about it!

It would stand to reason that two individuals that value 'personal power' or hold general influencuality (new word?) in very high regard (whether you think so or not) would find value in convincing as many people as is possible that they have some sort of special, extraordinary ability.

Doncha think?

Zoolander!! I love it!

I believe it it. I believe there are different sorts. Like knowing someone will call and the more common place that most of us have experienced. Dreaming a dream and having a deja vu. Being empathetic and feeling what others are feeling. I believe in the ability for some people to meditate and be about to solve crimes or travel in their minds eye. I think we're all telepathic at some level-- but who knows what causes it.

Jop! You crack me up!

I believe in space

If someone has these experiences, great, good for them. I don't. But
I have been the beneficiary of the phenomenon Surfer mentions...
I'll know exactly how my husband will finish a sentence and vice
versa. Or one time I was taking a road trip with my close friend and
she looked thru her CD collection and jotted down some albums and
then I did the same and our lists were exactly the same. I put that down
to familiarity more than ESP.

I still believe in the excellent joy of the Frank

I have soem experiences too, when it's 01 PM, I get hungry so I ask my colleagues if they want to go eating, and most of the times they had the same idea!
It happens too with my friends when at the bar, after the fourth beer one wants to pee, I often need to as well.

My best friend and I often have weird experiences. On more than one occasion I've picked up the phone to call her and she's already there on the other end of the line. I've developed a habit of not finishing my sentences when speaking to people because I'm used to her either finishing them for me or me not needing to finish them 'cos she knows what I'm talking about (she does the same too I've noticed). It could just be down to a curiously strong bond between us or both of us just being on the same wavelength.

I think that is just co-ink-i-dink. But yeah I believe that some people do have some strange powers of the mind. Or we all do but so people know how to use them.
