btw, about the pancakes, it's lemon JUICE (at least that's how we do it). not an actual whole lemon fruit. that might be a bit too much! |

I can see the sugar, my ma sometimes put brown sugar on hers.
But the lemon??? I don't know guys.
If I'm in a mood, I'll put a dollop of yoghurt and then some sliced fruit and then smother that in maple syrup. Yum.

No way do us Brits eat pancakes as big (fat) as yours.
So we make up for the lack of pancake batter with a little sprinke of sugar and lemon.
Erm, extra egg, flour and milk, or a little sprinkle of sugar? I do have my figure to look after you know.
And it's traditional, the best excuse of them all. |
