Posted - 01/04/2005 : 09:32:34 I really hate Motley Crue. After innocently calling in to request some Radiohead, I found myself live on the air...
Them: (shouting)Congratulations! You're caller 15! You're going to see THE CRUE next month, yeah!! Me: What? Them: What's your name, lucky caller?! Me: <long silence> What?
I guess I'll sell the tickets or something. Anyays, this reminded me that last night I watched "The Remaking of Vince Neil" on VH1. It's amazing how thousands and thousands of dollards worth of plastic surgery, personal chefs and trainers can magically transform a fat, disgusting, drunken asshole into a fat, disgusting, drunken asshole with slightly darker hair. Here he is with his girlfriend:
Which one of these is a woman?

I would give my right arm to see them, and the dirt is a fantastic book. All the good tickets for the british dates have sold out but hopefully they may be playing download.

Get a ticket off of a tout... shouldn't be too much.

Posted - 01/04/2005 : 23:06:07 Dude, they're giving them away! Just pick a random time, call your local radio station, and request some Radiohead. It works, trust me.

Posted - 01/04/2005 : 20:38:36 I've promised them to my Dad's boss. He drives an '87 Camaro (with T-tops!), and the last time I saw him he was wearing a "Peek-a-Boo Cafe" hat and a tank top. Talk about target demographics...

Posted - 01/04/2005 : 20:32:13 Don't knock the Crue... The Dirt is a great book.
I am gutted, they are playing UK in June, but cannot go back really as the wife will not understand. In 2003 I went to Roskilde to see Metallica / QOTSA / The Maiden, 2004 went back for Pixies. If I go back again for a band then I think i will be in the dog house.
Would love to see them though, even though they are getting on and are most probably just doing it for the $$$.

Seems like it is gonna be quite a read.

Posted - 01/04/2005 : 10:19:13 Heh, browsing Crue websites is an interesting way to pass some time. Here's the after picture, because I know everyone is just dying to see it.
Tommy Lee in Blender magazine: "This whole (tour's) kind of wack. I'm not sure any of (the new songs) are that great. To be honest, I don't even know why we're doing this interview."
He adds, "One thing I don't miss about Motley Crue is seeing Vince's bloated, disrespectful ass every day."
Heeheehee. Maybe I'll go just for train wreck value.

I used to like them way back in the Too Fast For Love days, but sheesh some people don't know when to quit. And its hilarious to hear Nikki Sixx talk like they were the most important rock band ever...
Hehe, the Shout at the Devil tour was my very first concert ever! I was 12.
