Is Space Ghost international?

In the US its on cartoon network, an interview/randomness show.

I don't remember seeing posts about it, but think it is right up the FB alley if we were all bowling together. Here at the forum.

Space Ghost's side kick is an evil praying mantis, its awesome. One of those shows you watch and think, "I can't believe this is actually on tv." and you are happy it is.

Betty

Looks like a pretty funny song. Blip was the monkey from the original Space Ghost cartoon, and then there were the twins too hehe.

Favorite rap lyrics (from "Drop the Needle")

Why I'm SG
and it's plain to see
that I'm SG
and my name is SG.

Does anyone remember "Cartoon Planet"? It was a short in between 2 SG eps where SG, Brak and Zorak did stuff for the "kids". Zorak composed and read "beat" poetry, Brak told stories and sang, and SG read letters from fans and put shorts on his head, etc. There are a couple soundtrack cds out there with songs from that. "BBQ with Space Ghost" includes Brak's "Highway 40" song.

And IMHO "the Brak Show" is a travesty.

i think there is an SNFU song called Space Ghost, The Twins, and Blip. any relation?

here are the lyrics:

spaceghost, the twins, and blip were busy fighting the cosmic witch she jumped in her craft and sped away leading them on a high speed chase spaceghost, the twins, and blip defending the cosmos in a spaceship spaceghost, the twins, and blip exploring the cosmos in a spaceship her vessel crashed but she got away vowed revenge on spaceghost one day he raised his fist in victory but had he really won?

Rat: do you have any regrets?
Pig: no, but i had a parrot once
Rat: that made absolutely no sense
Pig: well, it made sense to me until i learned he couldn't talk
Rat: i wish you couldn't talk
Pig: you would've liked my parrot

In the Frank Black gigography it says this:

January 24, 1999 - Atlanta, GA, Turner Studios, Space Ghost Coast To Coast (TV - unaired)

Does anyone know anything about it?

Yeah - true.

Western WV is much worse than eastern KY, but we still makes us a pretty good inbred.

It was a lot of trouble to find that pic tho, so I'm leavin it up.

Hey! That last one is West Virginia, man.

Oh, that's alright Brian. I only had to point out the shark's full company name "Ol Kentucky Shark", as I consider it my solemn duty to champion the great, much maligned Commonwealth of Kentucky whenever there's an opportunity*.

"Ol' Kentucky Shark" adds a welcomed touch of class to our already prestigious heritage:

I believe that's Ol' Kentucky Shark.

There's a great episode with Laurie Anderson in it. They really give her a hard time too, but it's obvious they like her.

How could i forget Ol' Kentucky Shark. Silly me

BANJOOOOOO!!!!!!

I like the one with his sea monkey, Banjo, cause it was funny and he had to kill it. Nice!

Comicbook writers and artists extrodinar Sarah Dyer and Evan Dorkin of action girl, milk and cheese, and Dork! fame wrote a bunch of episodes. Neat, huh. Thay also wrote some ninja turtles. the one with the neutrinos? Remember it? yeah, that was them.

neat!

I've never heard of Space Ghosts anywhere else than on this forum. But it seems everyone is a fan here, I'd really like to see it. I'll try and find some on eMule.

Space Ghost is wonderful. Some Italian twin friends of mine that lived across the hall from me in the Vampire apartment turned me on to Space Ghost around 95? I dunno exactly when, it was during a time when I didn't understand that screeching beeping shcuuuuuuuchshhhhhhhhhhh-ing sound at the end of each episode, when it had some kind of gibberish with an @ sign in it on the screen. Now *that's* computer illiteracy. Mo-dum? huh?

Anyway, ever since then, I never looked back.

Over here, I think it's now on 'toon Network's more adult/anime/violent channel Toonami, I've not seen it for ages, it's sooooooo good..

I used to watch that all the time when I lived in Barbados. We got the Cartoon Network. Now, in Canada, we don't get that wonderful show, but we do get many others. Like the spin off The Brak Show. That's pretty damn funny too but still...I miss that Spacey Bastard.
