Hey!
I just thought of this.
If Vermont becomes a part of Canada then their maple syrup will technically be Canadian!
Put that in your pipe and smoke it floop! :)

I lived in California, Manny, and sorely missed those endless Northern winters back East. Don't let floop and KOK fool ya: all that endless sunshine, all those back-to-back 72 degree days....ach, who needs that stuff when you can have Seasonal Affect Disorder from October to May?

Plus, I've felt no stranger sensation than walking out of a hockey arena and
onto blinding sunlight and friggin' palm trees. Anaheim Ducks, my ass.

Hehe looks like this thread was turned around. That's ok. I actually don't know J.M. too well to comment.

I'm sure you're going to be fine in Vermont, no need to move up here. The winters are so dark! I'm seriously considering moving down to the dirty south or somethin

or maybe...

"we'll move to CAAAAALLLIFORRRNIAAAAAAAA!"

Saskatoon bleeds Joni Mitchell, so I guess I like her by association. And I think 'Big Yellow Taxi' is a good song. They're planning a special thing dedicated to her at the Mendel Art Gallery here(where she had her paintings displayed recently). And she went to my high school. Seems like the media around here love her.

i like Joni. You aren't alone.

Not so good compared to who Kathryn? The Ramones? The Pixies?
This reminds me of this kid in high school that wrote a review of an REM concert for the school paper.

He wrote things like "I just didn't get it. I would have rather been rocking out at Motley Crue or Metallica..." and other idiotic crap like that.
He, of course had no business at an REM concert.

Joni Mitchell may not be worthy of note now, but...ahh fuck it.

I've exposed my folk-philic side now, i guess.

Rip me apart.

KSR, I swear on a stack of Adam Ant albums that this came up
when I did a google image search on your beloved Joni:

You know, not enough people, since Adam Ant, say dandy.

She's just not that good, in my book, KSR. Your Joni, not my Alicia. She's just not that good, imho.

Sorry.
Joni did some great shit.

I'm sorry, Manny, but I have to turn your very thoughtful thread

Um, my pants might be too big on you or too small. But we can share. I
am so very desperate to move to Canada. As I have said, everything about that place is dandy except Joni Mitchell.

I can adopt you Kathryn, I love vegetarian lasagna, but Iīm to lazy to cook it! Come on to Portugal, and I could share with you my music, since I donīt have anyone to do it with!

You can come live in my basement with the spiders... they are very nice as long as you don't mind conversations about wood.

I'll hide you, and bring you PB & J sandwiches !!

Just an update.

In a landmark opinion, Canada's Supreme Court said Thursday that proposed legislation allowing gay marriage is constitutional.
