Posted - 12/02/2004 : 06:02:21 there is CVB concert in my town this evenening, and i don't know if i should go. from what i read of them, i thought they were pretty interesting. but up to now, i've only heard "take the skinheads bowling" - and i think this is a pretty boring song.
so, can anybody help me with my decision ? apart from FB, i like "folk-influenced" music like giant sand, souled american, dar williams. i like acoustic guitars a lot, especially when they rock. i do appreciate good songwriting, basically.
is there any band CVB can be compared to ?

Posted - 12/02/2004 : 16:09:59 Yeah, I'd say to go see them. I get the idea that you'd like them. If you don't, though, at least you'll have that knowledge.
How much does the concert cost, by the way?
