It was pretty good. I've had some pretty bad birthdays in the past.

Also, for the last 19 years it has rained on my bday, does it rain where you are too?

Well, it snowed on the day I was born, but the weather was pretty nice and clear on my birthday this year. But then, I think it usually rains more in England than in Pennsylvania.

Moving from the clown to the jester will mean moving from similar to same, from alike to identical, from comparable to analogous. Though applied differently, the colours used on one can be used on another, and a couple of changes of costume will rapidly transform the jester into a clown and the clown into a jester. Strictly speaking, they almost duplicate each other as regards clothes and function, the only difference between them, from a social point of view, is that clowns do not usually visit the palaces of kings.

Signature's are kind of like bumper stickers, only less sticky.

Youve worked put my master plan!

I think girls generally get laid earlier than guys.....particularly in england...age of consent being lower and all that.

Mel, you'll need a C at English and Maths and 160 points (120 from two at least two A2 levels). That equates to overall distinction at BTEC or GNVQ. From what you tell me, you're too good for us.

"Yes, once..."

Yeah, i can do all that apart from the c in maths....but i have an amazing personal statement, so hopefully that will blind them! do you interview for all courses?

Happy Birthday!

Don't worry, I still feel like I'm 17. You have your whole life ahead of you to act as you like. At least, that's the philosophy that's worked for me so far - the security guys watching the cameras in the grocery store may have a different perspective.

GCSE's in the long run count for shit. I got very good GCSE's and then (don't laugh) D-D-E-E for A level, which is appauling (but like I say, I was a serious fuck up), now I have my degree, the way this MSc is going if I don't come out with a distinction (the amount of bloody work I do I should) and I'm still deciding between a PhD (leaning towards) and an MD (less sure, back up plan)

It'll all come good in the end, things have a funny way of doing that.

Once again...PARABÉNS MEL!!!
Have a wonderful day!
How can you be only 19 years old?? And be totally stressed!! Wait untill you get my age...you make me feel old again!
Go and have a drink with your friends...

...Love, love, ain't this enough
Pushing around
To find little comfort in words
But words
Well they cannot love
Don't waste them like that
Cus they'll bruise you more

There's always clearing, thats how I did it. I was a fuck up at A level and ran away to Oxford for a year and had the, BEST DAMN YEAR OF MY LIFE, and then got into Bangor through clearing doing a 26 (if I remember rightly) point course with my tragic 8 points. I spent an hour convincing the guy over the phone to take me and it was ace. You'll get in.

im not around 26 - 30...lol
I know what you mean Alicia. To be honest, since the beginning of the year, I came to the realisation about the fact I was literally acting like a 30 year old. A good friend said to me 'youre 18, not 30', whioch really shook me up and made me take stock of the fact that I actually had pretty much wasted my mid teens, and was not gonna be one for much longer. So I acted 18....perhaps a little too much, but fuck was it fun!

So yeah, its just its like 'im 19! I feel like ive already been 19! its just disorientating I guess. Perhaps I remember a past life too well. hehe

yeah, but the online ones, if youre applying via college, the college has to be registered. My college sucks, and isnt registeres. Its pretty much done. Filled it out, got the personal statement done (its amazing, i sound great, they are gonna be dissapointed!lol) just gotta get the statement on to the form....But will all be ok.

If i dont get in to uni, i think I may cry. it willruin my entire plan to stay a student as long as possible. Ill become a bum, and sit on shop doorways, asking for change, and drinking out of a brown paper bag..

Awww babe,

Don't let that feeling take over. You have to leave time for your juvenile pranks. Or else you will end up like my friend Christian. He never leaves his house, he never has any fun, he has cut off contact with everyone and all he does is work. And he works at a book store, I could be wrong, but I don't think that is the most stressful job in the world. It's not even a cool beatnick bookstore, it's a big corporate yuppie farm. And he is only 26. SO try to enjoy your life as much as you can. You'll have plenty of time to act like your 50 when you are. Age is all a state of mind.

Sorry about that rant, but it just bothers me when people who are around 26-30 think they are old. God damnit.

I sat alone in my little chair, I sat alone and I didn't care.

hehe, thank you guys!

Im currently sitting at college, doing nothing much at all. What is really rubbish is my form for applying to uni had to be in today, so been totally stressed!! Ended up cancelling the meal i was gonna have tonight with friends, just cos it was too stressy to organise. lol.

Probably still going out for a big old drink tomorrow though. And, my beer down here is just fine thank you! but its nice to have a change every nown again.

Im eating chocolate liquer at the moment. hehe. I love this stuff.

Birthdays are odd things arent they? I always get really philosophical on my birthday....but i wont bore you with my thoughts right now.

Im 19 today. I feel 33.
