I'm just getting into the world of purchasing digital music. Are there any good sites supporting independent artists, Bonnie Prince Billy in particular? I've searched and am having no luck. ITunes does not carry his majesty. Help?

Well, although they don't offer the likes of Bonnie Prince Billy, which is a shame, I used eMusic for a while, and was quite happy with the results. By used them for a while, I mean I used the fifty free songs they offer as a trial to download three or four CDs. Get some free music, try out the service.

Turn the spit on that pig and kick the drum and let me down.
Put my clarinet beneath your bed 'til I get back in town.
