Posted - 11/05/2004 : 05:41:23 I never knew about this until a couple days ago. I always felt Pinkerton could have been a rock opera of sorts, but I didn't realize that originally it had been part of Cuomo's magnum opus.

Posted - 11/18/2004 : 14:20:15 It's really nice to hear some Weezer songs I've never heard before that were written and recorded before Rivers Cuomo lost his touch. You Won't Get With Me Tonight and Blast Off kick considerable amounts of ass, and Come To My Pod and This Is Not For Me are nice little ditties, they seem kind of like segue pieces. I've heard Longtime Sunshine before and that's a fantastic song. Wow... I wish I could hear all of Songs From the Black Hole. From what I've heard of the song Super Friend on the DVD, that's an awesome song, too.
I really hope the next Weezer album is better than Green and Maladroit. Those albums had a few moments, but overall, they're just... lacking.
Signature's are kind of like bumper stickers, only less sticky. |

I wonder if Rivers will ever pursue finishing this. I bet not, but it'd be cool.
